Hello Star Family,
The past couple of weeks snailed by with an air of eternity while simultaneously transforming every area of life with a cheetah-like swiftness. I’ll get into more detail below about the magnitude of eclipse impact.
For now, let’s embrace the fresh, gorgeous energy of April 18’s new moon lunation cycle by asking the Motherpeace Tarot:
What energy is best for us all to connect with at this new moon?
ANSWER: Nine of Swords to the left
Ever been visited by a spirit in the middle of the night as you lie in a half awake/half asleep dream state, only to be rendered paralyzed fully with an inability to speak due to the presence of the entity? This is Nine of Swords energy. It’s etheric heaviness scares sh*tless because nothing can be done about it, as one literally cannot mobilize or even muster up an utterance in defense.
So, eclipses transform, eclipse out. They are known for sparking major life transitions like death, house moves, new occupations, marriage, divorce, new car, old “trusty” bucket’s engine blowing up now in need of new car. Eclipse moons last for six months too, so even if there were no surprise or spontaneous occurrences taking place, bet, they’ll happen before the next eclipse season in September/October.
Eclipses don’t allow stationary behavior or stagnant situations. And the very reality of being forced to change is where the message of Nine of Swords to the left comes to fore.
Nine of Swords to the left is an energy expressed as feeling weak and helpless about effecting the transformation necessary to manifest deeply held goals. Not only is it scary to reach a new epoch, internal Nine of Swords to left conversations may live in mind as: “How the f**k is it even possible?! What can be done about it? I can’t do all this stuff!! GOSH, why is this happening to me?”
The panic then cripples and an ineffectual victim is born.
Don’t fear the end.
Nines in tarot are associated with the planet Neptune. This celestial body rules magic, psychology, health, art, creativity, the ocean, other dimensions and the star sign Pisces. Neptune’s SO awesome for transitioning into new ways of being, but it can also make goals appear far too expansive, like the depths of the sea. It can bring up depth of the sea issues like old guilt, old shame, relentless memories. Has anyone been thinking about interactions from 10-15 years back between the one person and yourself, you offend saying something stupid so ashamed it’s the worst thing could have been said and I carry this as a justification for why it’s impossible to move forward in life and pursue this goal because because because. THIS type of psychological meandering is Nebulous Neptune talk.
Note: this new moon is in Pisces (SO NEPTUNE). Although tropical astrologers report this lunation cycle is in Aries, if you look up at the sky, you can see the moon is at the tale end of the Pisces constellation.
Talk is a primary word in this post because Swords is all about talk: it’s the element of air, intellect. It’s all about the working of the mind, the messages delivered to Self and others via tongue and brainwaves.
Nine of Swords is associated with Mars in Gemini. Mars being Fire planet of war and Gemini the ridiculously charming, verbose and speech-gifted Air twins. Air and Fire together in Nine of Swords is combustion, Hades status. Literal flame consumption of thoughts, burning down the frames of brain.
Don’t worry about it.
For real, this is the message of Nine of Swords to the left.
No matter how it’s sliced, the end of an epoch is arriving, Cerebrum Bombs can do nothing to prevent transition into the New.
Nine of Swords, aka “the Nightmare Card” in the tarot community, has a way of convincing humans into believing their worst nightmare is really happening, when in fact this reality is a mental projection. It’s not real.
What IS real though is that it’s time to get over whatever’s in the way of embracing change or even acknowledging the need for transformation.
Reaching the tarot Ten completion after the Nine buildup is SO AWESOME, believe it.
TIPS FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS:
- If in need of Adult Diapers thinking about actually performing a certain action that you KNOW must be done: do it anyway. Act in spite of crippling fear. Talk to someone, a therapist, spiritual counselor, friends, other tribe members who speak to your highest greatness. Don’t forget the greatness that you are.
- Journal. Swords is intellectual energy; in order to process whatever is going on psychologically, it’s imperative thoughts be transcribed. Review the fears on paper: do they really matter?
- Read books with rapacious imagination.
- Consult a shaman, demonologist or other professional spiritual practitioner if you think you’re under psychic attack.
- Get regular sleep. Nine of Swords is traditionally depicted as a woman going nuts in her bed. This could mean bouts of insomnia have been unremitting since the onset of the March/April eclipse season. Not alone, the entire collective can’t sleep, bet!
