Happy New Moon Star Posse!
In order to maximize the fresh energy this lunation provides, I’ve asked the Aquarian Tarot Deck to shed some light on what we should keep in mind over the next two weeks:
What do human beings need to manifest at this new moon?
Answer: King of Rods reversed
King of Rods is fire of fire; all flames. Tarot relates to this element as spirit animus, electricity, the world wide web, passion, creativity, ambition and power-drive.
In response to the question, King of Rods reversed states: “Fire in the hole, get down to it”.
The royal figure in this card is holding a flower staff. A bird crown, symbolic of Mercury the Messenger Planet, rests on his head. A jewel bedazzles King of Rods’ third eye chakra.
On a cosmological flex, there is so much happening sidereally the day this new moon occurs. Uranus goes direct December 21 after being retrograde since the close of July and this heavy-hitting Sunday also marks the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere. Uranus the planet of revolution in forward-motion guarantees multiple new shock chapters going down with a swiftness. In tropical astrology charts, Uranus is in fire-fueled warrior sign Aries and the new moon is happening in determined-goat earth sign Capricorn. Uranus, air, coupled with Aries, fire, is the kind of combination with the power to literally burn earthy Capricorn down, right to ashes, it’s that combustible. All of these astrological signs are cardinal, which means leadership is where all the transformation lies.
Human beings need to manifest multiple reality checks at this new moon: heavy spiritual self-reflection, a deep evaluation of autocratic influence, acknowledgement of the Internet’s true impact, where outbursts of anger have squelched creativity.
King of Rods is a court card, which in tarot often points to people like you and me. Kings are authority figures with lots of power. When was the last time your highest capability was thwarted by a vainglorious dictator or a self-righteous pontificator? Are you truly controlling the release of gusto, or is your fire actually under the thumb of an overbearing Arrogant?
Siriusly Sidereal Advice for Self: Acknowledge your own authority. Discover how you contribute to the world at large, then own it please! Get clear on the reality of your leadership (or lack thereof), then come correct. Stop being a wimp. If defeatist self-criticism doesn't apply, concentrate on setting trailblazing intentions designed to evoke heightened levels of titillating creativity. Adopt 'Passion Explorer' title, plumb the depths. Hey Reader, been doing all this stuff already? Then chill out and watch the flames you ignited dance in luminous delight, don't worry about its fade to embers.
Siriusly Sidereal Advice for World: Autocratic dictators who are making poor decisions back to back need to be ejected from thrones before the world blows up. Individual, how can you use your life force (fire) to make this happen? Note all of the Internet-related insanity reaching news headlines at the close of this year: Sony email hacks, cyber terrorism, Anonymous, Twitter reporting revolution more accurately than CNN. The Web is weapon AND tool. How you gonna use it?
